Hastings Rotary Club Youth Fund

The Rotary Club of Hastings was established in 1924 where members came together to create positive, lasting change in the community.

In the decades since, the club has been involved with many community impact projects including establishing ‘Meals on wheels’, supporting Boys Scouts and Girl Guides, planting 500 Redwoods at Te Mata Park in 1973.

Holding golf tournaments and other fundraisers where funds raised were distributed to local charity organisations, and funded youth through Outward Bound and many other youth projects.

The club made the difficult decision to close in 2025 and instead established the Hastings Rotary Club Youth Fund with Hawke’s Bay Foundation to give back to youth within the Hastings region.

All donations made to the Hastings Rotary Club Youth Fund will be prudently invested, distributing the investment returns earned to causes supporting youth, so all gifts will keep growing and giving, now and forever.

Thank you for considering Hawke’s Bay Foundation for your donation.
